HVAC & Refrigeration Live (HVACR Live), the UK’s only dedicated national exhibition for the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors will take place from 18 to 19 April 2023 at London Excel.

It’s clear to see that confidence in trade shows has grown over the last few months, and HVACR Live is no different with big names signed up with more poised to confirm in the coming weeks. Toshiba, Danfoss and Diversitech are the most recent brands to join our exhibitors, along with Fischer Fixings, Inatec, Ventmann, Prihoda, Jumo and more.

Two years ago we didn’t know if we would be allowed out of our own homes the next day. The roads were almost silent and the skies devoid of vapour trails as international travel was virtually non-existent. While it hasn’t moved into history quite yet, Covid-19 seems to be approaching normalisation as we learn to live with it.

Most countries are now free to travel as they did before 2020 and their business sectors want to make up for lost time, take advantage of new opportunities and make sure their brands are present, visible and in front of their potential customers.

HVACR Live is seeing the reality of this as companies across the globe sign up, from countries such as Jordan, Turkey and China. A spokesperson from Turkey-based Gemak said: “As the UK’s leading trade fair for heating, ventilating, air conditioning, cooling and refrigeration, HVACR Live attracts the attention of the top experts and key players of the sector. HVACR Live is the perfect place to forge new partnerships, generate sales and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments. Gemak aims to enter the UK market by exhibiting all its product ranges at this fair.”

Trade associations are at the heart of any sector, bringing together passion and expertise from businesses at all levels through their memberships and HVACR Live is seeing associations signing up to convey their knowledge and spark debate with visitors.

Representatives from organisations such as BESA, The Cold Chain Federation and CIPHE will be presenting in the Conference Theatre, while the Institute of Refrigeration will have its own stand with mini seminar area. In addition, there will be some specialist speakers from other bodies such as the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea on hand to discuss the topics that matter the most.

Event manager Tony Patman said: “It’s taken a little while to get the ball rolling, but it’s gathering momentum now and we’re seeing some quality names keen to exhibit at HVACR Live. We’ll have some more great names to announce soon, so watch this space and make sure you have the dates in your diary!”

HVACR Live is taking place at London’s Excel, which holds huge possibilities for HVACR Live 2023.

Visitors will appreciate that the venue is incredibly easy to get to, either by road with parking for up to 2000 cars, or via public transport with the DLR, Elizabeth Line, Jubilee Line and the London Overground all connecting to the ExCel station. International visitors can find it next door to London City Airport.

Exhibitors of previous events will understand that core services underpin any successful event, such as rigging, cleaning and piped services which demand intimate technical knowledge of the venue, operational procedures and the highest health and safety standards. These services are delivered exclusively by the ExCel team, who are responsible for maintaining the fabric of the building and ensuring you have the best experience as an exhibitor.

With the majority of big industry businesses, suppliers, manufacturers and buyers, being based in or around London HVACR Live is will be right in the lap of those who are most likely to attend.

ExCel is just a stone’s throw from the capital’s centre, which is where the ACR News Awards will be held on the second evening of HVACR Live. Other relevant trade events are taking place in central London the same week, making this an essential opportunity to maximise a single trip into London.

More than five hotels surround the ExCel, from a Premier Inn to Double Tree by Hilton. The ExCel also boasts 22 eateries within its walls, offering exhibitors and visitors a great choice of food and drink. Once you’ve recharged yourself, there are several phone charging boxes around the venue, to make the most of the free WiFi.

“The HVACR Industry and its sectors thrive on face-to-face interaction, as does the exhibition industry by its very nature. Nothing compares to meeting in-person, putting hands on products and seeing what new innovations look like and how they work,” said Mr Patman.

HVACR Live will culminate with the prestigious ACR News Awards being held on the evening of 19 April, showcasing the best and brightest within the air conditioning and refrigeration sectors.
