HVACR Live – the story so far

HVAC & Refrigeration Live (HVACR Live), the UK’s only dedicated national exhibition for the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors will take place from 18 to 19 April 2023 at London Excel.

HVACR Live has been a part of the industry for many years, as well as in its former incarnation as the ACR Show. It has survived recessions and flourished in economic booms, taking place regularly and providing the UK HVACR sectors with a dedicated space to meet up and discuss industry matters.

The industry is infamous for products that, to the uninitiated, look like almost identical white boxes and their accessories. HVACR Live has always provided the space for manufacturers and their distributors to bring along some of those products and reveal the innovations and inner workings to visitors.

The Workshop Theatre will provide an added level with exhibitors providing product demonstrations and in-depths technical talks on their products and services.

The visitors that attend HVACR Live are made up not only key decision makers from top flight projects, businesses and Government organisations, but also highly knowledgeable engineers who know exactly what the customers on the ground are looking for. The exhibition continues to provide the perfect forum for manufacturers and engineers to discuss products in technical detail, while the location of London Excel taps directly into the heart of major projects in the city.

There will be several areas to network, meet with old friends, have refreshments or just chill out. For those who wish to hold more private meetings, there is scope to take advantage of the facilities at HVACR Live to conduct business with customers, or even in-house meetings.

The range of international exhibitors taking advantage of HVACR Live to demonstrate their products is already seeing sharp growth with companies such as Turkish cooler and condenser manufacturer Gemak having a significant presence alongside existing exhibitors Guntner and Petra.

Likewise, brands that are already well-known in the UK are now showing interest with Fischer Fixings the most recent sign up to take a high-profile stand, joining others such as Humidity Solutions, Carrier Rental Systems and Fieldpiece Instruments.

Exhibitors that were scheduled to be a part of the 2020 HVACR Live have reconfirmed their attendance after the global pause that was – and in some parts of the world, continues to be – Covid-19.

One such company is Building Automation Products Inc UK (BAPI UK). Business development and regional sales manager Mike Moss, said: “This is one of the best shows in the UK to showcase your company and its products and has always has many key decision makers attending from our industry and plenty of old friends as well.”

BAPI UK will be promoting a wide range of sensors for temperature, humidity, air pressure, air quality, wireless solutions and a range of handheld test instruments.

Event manager Tony Patman said: “The HVACR industry and its sectors thrive on face-to-face interaction – as does the exhibition industry by its very nature. While the likes of Zoom and Teams have been a life saver for many businesses, nothing truly compares to actually meeting up in person – and nothing truly beats putting hands on products and seeing first-hand what new innovations look like and how they work.”

HVACR Live will culminate with the prestigious ACR News Awards being held on the evening of 19 April, showcasing the best and brightest within the air conditioning and refrigeration sectors.
